One of the main hurdles we face (from a electronics point of view at least). Was how to out put the Gameboy’s screen to a VGA monitor. We have two options here. One is to simply use a PC with a Gameboy emulator (easy but effective). Or…. Hack the original hardware to output a VGA signal. It’s very difficult to do this, especially if you have no experience with¬†FPGAs or¬†oscilloscopes. In the screen shots below you find a screenshot from a PC running an emulator.
